The salesmen for this company promise special contacts to the "hidden job market" to help get you a job. When they get your money, someone goes to the internet and downloads a bunch of almost totally unrelated jobs and emails them to you. Anyone can get the same worthless information from the web for themselves.
Before you give this company any money, be careful to check out carefully the many claims they make. It has been reported they have been sued by many clients for failure to provide services. You would want to check this out at the Orange County Courthouse as well as check on their rating at the BBB before hiring them.
At last report, the BBB showed them with an "unfavorable" rating and noted that Careers2000 had not even posted the bond with the State of California required for them to do business in this State.

The first rebuttal was not done by anyone in our company. We believe it was the work of a competitor to further upset Mr. Leicht. We apologize to him. As you know at that time anyone and everyone could post a rebuttal. We do not agree with the first rebuttal or the first report as for that matter. For more information on our company and the services provided, please visit http://www.careers2020.net and we would be glad to have you call us for any further information.

Thank You
Careers 20/20

My name is Ian Leicht.

In this and at least two of the other rip off reports posted at this site, Careers 20/20 responded to them by personally attacking me and making a number of outright lies. I am not the author of any of the Careers 20/20 or Careers 2000 reports written at this site. I can only assume that they have mentioned my name because I published my own experiences with them at my web site:

For more information, reference this report and request if via: info@ripoffreport.com

As you can imagine, I find their comments rather upsetting. I will leave it for you to decide whether an ethical organization would make these sorts of comments about both myself and the Better Business Bureau.

BTW, as far as I know, there are no people working at this organization with the names used in their rebuttals. Also note that the rebuttals all reference the same email address, almon@prodigy.net, which is one those they regularly use for business.

Hello,
I used to work at Careers 20/20 and they are a great company who have helped hundres of executives fond a new career, not just a new job. Unfortunately, Mr. Ian Leicht lied to us all when he submitted his credentials.

PS..Please be sure to read the Orange County Registers article about the BBB's poor business practices. Article dated 5/2/02.
