On 6/28/11 I contacted Carefree lifestyle to reserve a Ferrari California for my Wedding.
Sean Cary was the representative that assisted me. He said no problem told me the total
would be $4722 he sent me credit card authorization forms and I sent them back
to him immediately. I received from him an email confirmation #005170C.
Sean Cary calls me the night before and attempted to Bait & Switch
me into a F360 Modena. His sales practices are deceptive and dishonest, I was guaranteed a Ferrari California both orally and in writing and Carefree lifestyle did not deliver on agreed
vehicle even though I was charged the full amount. I immediately attempted to reach a supervisor to explain the situation and I needed help because this was not just another rental to play
around for the weekend. This was my WEDDING!
I would characterize their demeanor as callous or insensitive. They did not delivery the vehicle promised and my credit card had a $4722 charge while I was on my Honeymoon. After my honeymoon I attempted to get a refund again and kept getting the runaround. I contacted my credit card company and they said if they would not refund money by 15 days they would do a charge back. On day 14 I get a call from Janet saying they were sorry and refund money. It does not surprise me they waited until the last day. Like I said they do not care about their clients.
