My wife and I went into the North Little Rock, AR CarHop location yesterday.  Here is my experience.

My wife and I saw a car on their lot we liked and went in to get prices and such. We encountered a "salesman" named Mark. We where asking to fill out tons of paper work and go through a long, silly presentation. We did all of that, then after two hours (keep in mind all we wanted was a price for a particular car). He takes us out on the lot to look at a 10 yr old Ford Escort that had a flat tire and wouldn't start because it had a bad battery. THEN it went all wrong.

We told him we weren't interested in that car and asked if we could look at some others. He got mad when we asked him for prices on the cars and only wanted to talk payment prices. After we told him we weren't interested in the Escort he proceeds to tell us to "get off of his lot", "he didn't want us in one of his cars because he wouldn't want to come tow it" and that "that is our corporate policy".   The part about not wanting us as a customer and that not wanting to tow (repo) our car was after we where walking to our car to leave, he followed us through the parking lot just to tell us that.

Who is the customer here? It seemed he was just wanting people with horrible credit to come in and beg them for a car and pay whatever price he told you to pay.  If we didn't fit "the program" for whatever reason he could have politely told us that without making us jump through hoops and then verbally attacking us when we had a child present. 

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any company in my life and I will be sharing my story with anyone willing to listen.  This is not the way to conduct business and your customers will learn this.
