I was sent a "Boarding Pass" to Caribbean Cruise line w/a 1300$ voucher, for a FREE 2 night cruise for 2 adults to Grand Bahama Island. This was thru the mail. I was told I would receive this package paying only 118.00 port fees. Which the "Boarding Pass" stated 59$.They then said, and I quote, "this package may be combined with your Free Cruise to extend your vacation in Florida and the Bahama's".

2 nights of "gold key" award winning accommodations in sunny Ft. Lauderdale,Fl.
2 night Bahama cruise with all meals, live entertainment and activities.
Fun day in port-swim with the dolphins, take a nature tour or shop duty-free.
Choice of: 2 nights in the Bahamas at the Radisson Our Lucaya Beach and Golf resort or 2 nights of "Gold Key" award winning accommodations in Orlando, FL.
Fun guided tour of a beautiful  vacation ownership resort.
7 days transportation by Alamo or Budget Rent-A-Car with unlimited mileage.
Partcipate within 48 hours and you'll also receive your choice of a Getaway Vacation. Be one of the first 500 participents today and get both Getaways!
3 days, 2 nights in exciting Las Vegas, NV
4days and 3 nights in romantic Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

After all was said and done in 1 and a 1/2 hours, I was stupid enough to believe them, I got 8 nights and nine days all for 468$ which included the 118$ port fees. It was 970$ when we started.

I then was told I would get 2 for 1 airfare. The second person would be 468$ for the cruise/land package, the 3rd and 4th person 129$. 50$ in slot play. 100$ gas voucher and of course, "a free car". I thought I died and went to heaven. Even mentioning to Daniel and Andrew that "this sounds like a scam". I was told I had to book right then and had 18 months to use my "package".
Of course I argued this whole point and said told them I couldn't afford it, because I had recently almost died, went into a Coma and had a TBI.(Brain Inj.) Lost my job of 32 years because I couldn't focas or comprehend things to quickly. Then Daniel said "well what I'll do for you is span out the payments for 6 months. 1 payment of 77.83$ a month. I was overwhelmed with his kindness. Duh...

I was never told about the fact that I would have to pay Hotel Taxes which can be upwards of 20$ a night. Car taxs which who knows how much that would be. In fact it states on my boarding pass,  economy car for 7 days, unlimited mileage and is available at a tremendous savings. I was   given a choice of either Mexico or Vegas. Did not include both.

They gave me a resv.# and password and web address to my itinerary. Peter.isonvacation.com

No such address of course. No itinerary, however they did send me a "welcome aboard email" and stated that my itinerary would be available in 48 hrs. Not. I have noticed there are over 1200 complaints to the BBB with pretty much the same story. I am waiting to call them tomorrow to ask for a refund and get the ol' scam talk but am prepared to go to battle with them. Incidentally, I called my credit card company and they said the 468$ was taken out the day I talked to them, not the 6 months I was told I would have.

These people need to be stopped. I may be a little "brain-dead", no pun intended, because of my TBI. But I feel they took advantage of my situation, even asking what happened, how, how long the coma, etc. What pathetic Human Beings. All I wanted was a cheap vacation after 5 years of h**l with recovering from the head injury. I thought maybe there was hope out there, that there are really some good kind people. Boy did I get a kick in the face. Maybe I just wanted a vacation to bad, that's why I fell for their "kindness". Lets stop them ASAP!!

Peter,

Your personalized website takes UP TO 72 BUSINESS hours before it becomes activated. Try again.

I sell this stuff and while I agree that it it an impulse buy, and there is always going to be buyer's remorse for a significant purchase made over a phone call, we sell a great, highly discounted vacation. It's dirt cheap for what you get. While our methods are very clever, and it is over the the phone, this is a real company with a a real product, and we deliver what we promise. Yes, there are hotel taxes. Yes there are taxes on the rental car. There always will be those taxes. There's only 2 things certain in life: death and taxes, right? :)
We couldn't even use Alamo's name if it wasn't real. The FTC would shut us down in a matter of days. Think about that.
You're pissed because we were skilled enough to close you. It's all good. Go on your vacation, and take notice of the people that spent 3x, 4x more than you did for the same thing, and then, reconsider your position on the matter. Welcome Aboard :)
Jessica
