Complaint Review: caribbean cruise line-cruise ship*Bahamas celebration scam

Let's start off by saying..hugeee mistake. Should have went with my intuition telling me its probably a scam. Well believe me they made some good money off of us and nothing was free and I didnt "win" anything. NOTHING. First we paid our airfare(me, my hubby&two yr old daughter) Boston to Florida....800 bucks right there...thank god for a ticket being free due to credit card miles...Then we get all prepared and fly out to fort lauderdale to the start to our horrendous adventure. We have to get our rental car that was basically $300 when all was said and done( was supposed to be free) Then..we got to our ghetto looking ramada(not terrible..just ehhhh)...so I walk into the welcome center and getting the info to basically travel here, there and everywhere in turn getting vouchers for cruise and orlando at the end of the week. It's a mountain of directions and routine nonsense that took up half our trip. Not to mention...ohh the lovely tour...the 4 hr f*cken tour. So...we leave fort lauderdale and headed to pompano beach to see our upgraded hotel beachfront room(thinking its gunna be a step or two up from ramada.) So half hr later we are driving down scum alley and at the very end it ocean point. NASTYYY. EWW. I walked into the room and I smoke ciggarettes and it smelled like a 20 yr old ashtray gone wrong. Walked right out..squeeky scary elevator on my way back to the car( also with about 1 ft of water in the elevator) wtf? so...I go back to the car crying where my hubby and sleeping baby are and I send him in to check it out....we were out! Went back and cried to the people at the welcome center. Thank god we did, because they put us up in the Marriot which was such a relief for me. And glad they did because a day later...SHOOTING ON POMPANO BEACH..AHHH.....well thank god for the marriot pool and cleanliness cuz that was the nicest time we were gunna have for hotels. sooo...Then the tour.....I DONT WANT A TIMESHARE..NONONO...neverending..thank god it was turrential downpours or I would have been pissed. 3 hrs later with a screaming kid we finally get done and they give us our voucher for the cruis the next day...so we next day...drive to west palm beach...which was really nice and we spent the day on the beach before getting on the cruise around 3. We load on the cruise ship and credit cards or 300 cash r neccessary to go past "GO"...ok...we figured that...so we pay..then they tell us its almost a "have to" to do an excursion once we get to bahamas...so we do...grand lucya beach....waste of money...more gross food....crummy tiny room...Thank god for the people and the fact that it wasnt raining. soo....we end our cruise about 500 dollars later...oww...not free at all...sooo..then we get back ..get our car and oh ya (had to pay to park)...anyways..so we drive to orlando for hopefully the time of our lives...the little one is sure to love this park...Ramada maingate west..ickkkkkkickicckkk.....I just said whatever..no more crying...just sleep here and spend the last two days at disney..and thats what we did...did two parks and then went home....soooo happy to have learned this lesson..NEVEREVER AGAIN!
