I was offered a promotional vacation package through Caribbean cruise line that was "discounted". I initially paid 1200 which included a number of items in my itinerary including a " $1000 internet gift certificate". I later paid port fees and paid to extend my expiration period. My expiration date is 5/2/2012. I went online as indicated in the itinerary to retrieve my gift certificate to find out the site does not exist. I called and spoke with customer service rep. Terrance I'd number 3106 and he did the opposite of helping me to make the situation right. He was unprofessional and rude and told me to compare it to buy McDonald's gift certificates and macdonalds going out of business. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he told me he would tell me no different and that I would just " make him mad". I repeatedly stated I need to speak with his mgr and it was refused. He gave me a fax number to send a letter. I thought customer service was there to serve people? I guess that's not carribeans understanding!
