Complaint Review: Carleton Sheets Profession Education Institute

I purchased the program over 3 years ago and before I even opened it I had heard alot of bad things about it. I decided I did not want it and immediately returned it. I then got a phone call asking if I wanted to buy additional info on the program. I told them that I had returned it!

They told me that they did not get it back and that it was now past the 30 days and I would have to pay the full amount. I told them they needed to check with there receiving department because I had sent it back unopened. I was then asked if I had insured it and sent it back signature required. I said no that I didn't know that I was suppose to send it back that way and they said that the instructions were inside, which I didn't read because I never opened it up.

I told them that I felt that this was some kind of a scam since it seems awful funny that they called me write after the 30 days were up, and that if they continued to harrass me I would persue legal action. I did cancel my credit card for fear that they would charge my account immediately. I never heard from them until just recently 3years later.

I am now being harrassed by a collection agency telling me that I am responsible for this bill over 300.00. I told them I sent it back and they told me without proof from the post office and a signed receipt there is nothing I can do. I am definitely going to fight this, I sent that package back and I know they got it. After reading all of these complaints on this site about this company I now have plenty of proof to back up the fact that ripping people off seems to be normal procedure.
