Carlotti Cosmetic Surgery Center/Desert Palm Surgical Center/Albert Carlotti/Michelle Cabret-Carlotti RE: Oral surgeons doing plastic surgery procedures and cosmetic procedures with poor resultsm Scottsdale Arizona
I also experienced VERY poor results after cosmetic surgery at Carlotti Cosmetic Surgery Center. I did not realize that I was in the hands of Oral Surgeons and not Plastic Surgeons - as I feel that I was lead to believe.
As an ex-patient of both Albert Carlotti and Michelle Cabret-Carlotti, I feel that I simply cannot and will not recommend them due to my calamitous experience.
In both my own personal opinion, and the opinion of the Board Certified PLASTIC Surgeons that I have consulted with, the majority of the devastating results that I have suffered are extensive and irreparable. Sadly, I feel - and I have been advised - that the majority, if not all of the resulting damage could have been avoided had I been in the hands of an expertly skilled, knowledgeable, and highly trained Board Certified PLASTIC Surgeon.
My expectations were not unrealistic, unless you would consider it unrealistic to expect an improved result, not an excessively worsened one. I believe I have suffered extensive and severe deformities, irregularities, unnecessary scarring, permanent skin discoloration, and resulting asymmetry that is visible throughout my entire body.
I have contemplated suicide many times since my surgery as I feel the exceptionally poor, and irreversible, results have left me in immense despair. I struggle with this every second of every single day. I feel that I live in a constant personal hell as I wake up every morning hoping that the day will be my last as my quality of life has deteriorated significantly. I feel that the life I am currently living should not even be classified as a "life" as I find it extremely difficult to experience any joy when I used to be a very happy, active, successful, and social person. Looking in the mirror is particularly difficult for me and I am unable to do it without breaking down in tears and feeling extreme regret for the choice I made in selecting these Doctors.
If I could offer any personal advice, it would be to do your research to determine if a doctor you're considering does in fact hold the prestigious accreditation of being a BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON. I feel that this is of the utmost importance, as I do not want to see anyone else suffer the debilitating emotional and physical pain that I endure on a daily basis - most of which will negatively affect me for the rest of my life.

I wanted to make note, and add to my report, that the Carlotti's are Board Certified Oral Surgeons, MD's AND Cosmetic Surgeons. But they are NOT Board Certified PLASTIC Surgeons.
