OK, So I bought the course...and I have tried to make it work. I have looked at a number of properties, spoke to realtors, made business cards, and on and on...following the program.

Then one day I get a call from Carlton Sheets company, and boy do I feel lucky, they want me to be part of a "special" program; I have been specially selected to get personal counseling from a Carlton Sheets professional! Wow...

Then the guy (over the phone) gives me and my wife a 45 min. schpeel about how he can "help" us be "successful". Now to the punch line...12 months of personal coaching (over the phone) all for the low price of only $3095. (which of course was what I told him was what I had left on my credit card!)

I asked him to please send out the info on paper and I would consider it...He immediately went into hard sales mode. He said he could only send out info if I gave him my credit card #!!! Whoa! MAJOR RED FLAG!

We hung up that night after much fussing, he promised to send out something, which he never did. He called me 5 times after that trying again to convince me that "I was missing out!"

Anyone else with similar problems out there!?
I think Carlton is rich from selling his program, not from real estate.

Carleton Sheets is a relative by marriage. He ripped my parents off on a condo when we lived in south Florida. Now that I'm 21 and see his program on TV, I have to laugh. He's not rich from real estate, he's rich from you! STOP buying this stupid program! Save yourself the money.

Hi, I hope this letter helps someone to feel better about the program. I am a part-time nurse by evening/night and a mother of 3 little ones by day. I did buy the program 2 1/2 years ago, purchase no money down/no down payment. I am a success story. I am thankful it worked out for me. I learned a lot from the program and applied it my area. I was able to purchase 4 homes with a total of 9 rental units. No money down, nothing out of my pocket and I got cash back on my last property.

I tell people all the time, and let friends borrow the program. I first tell people to read Rich Dad Poor Dad, this book and othes by the author changed my life. Then I bought Carlton Sheets. I did spend 266,000.00 in 1 year, none of it my own. We work hard at taking care of our property but, it is a great investment. It did work for me. I have made mistakes and i share them with people.

To be successful, I suggest doing the program and other programs. Go to the library and read on real estate. Learn about your state. Go to the court houses and the clerks offices first. This does take time. Number One, get a mortgage broker. Call them and ask questions. Carleton Sheets really lays a foundation in lingo/terms and a lot of gereat ideas. I really learned a lot. I also continue to learn.

I did get that phone call for the personal coach program, I said no way. I told them I was successful on my own. They called a total of 3 times, no hard sale for me. I asked them to take me off their calling list, they did. No more phone calls.

I encourage you not to give up, real estate is great and you can do it! Remember, it has to fit you and your life. You have to keep calling on properties,KEEP LEARNING! Go to Boarders or Barnes& Nobles, go to the investment section. I wish I had time to act as a "coach" for people. I help my friends, for free. It worked for my brother, $7000.00 cash back, nothing out of his pocket! good luck, sorry for your experience. NY
