I called the real Publishers Clearinghouse the next morning and confirmed that it was a scam. I received an email on Nov. 5th from a Carmen Cox at ccox@LabCorp.com stating I had won $500,000 from Publishers ClearingHouse that night and to send my name, address and phone # to their agent at pchinquiryaffairs@outlook.com
The next morning I contacted the true Publishers ClearingHouse to confirm if this was a fraud. They stated it was a fake and that they will be passing the information on to their scam unit. They asked if anyone ever has a suspicion whether something comes from them to please inform them.
