On June 28th I put a deposit, $500 CAD mailed by Canadian Postal Money Order, on a teacup poodle at Carnmoney Toy Poodles in Calgary, Alberta,and Blackfoot, Idaho.
Immediately after she received my deposit, she said the pup's mother had hung herself and she was unwilling to release the pup.
She offered me another pup as a substitute that was already 3 months old but was unable to offer any background information on this dog whatsoever or any documentation of any kind to prove that this substitute dog even existed or was indeed hers to sell.
When I said I would wait to receive information re parents and pedigrees, and in fact I would make a trip in person to see the dogs, she suggested I take my deposit of $500 back (the total price was $2,000 U.S.)
I agreed to take back my deposit, however I have not been successful in getting her to return it. She has a lot of talk about returning it, but sends no cash.
I have all necessary documentation to support my claim and also have found others with similar experiences with this woman.

I would like to know how to contact this lady, she metions in her statement:
"Anyone having any concerns, contact me for proof and names of others who have been taken by her." I am thinking about buying a puppy from Carnmoney Poodles and would like to talk to Marie about what kind of a breeder Colleen is.

This lady should write for True Story magazine, she would do well. Anyone having any concerns, contact me for proof and names of others who have been taken by her. Yes, we did eventually and with a great deal of effort get our money back from her, but not before ensuing more in lawyer's fees than I spent on the deposit, not to mention the time wasted.
She should have been concerned about her reputation before she started ripping people off, not after.

I have worked for Colleen for 3 years on and off.
All of her dogs are of the highest quality, it was an absolute tragedy the loss of the mom and both of her pups. It hurt Colleen greatly, she loves all of her dogs they even take turns sleeping in her bed every night!!!
Colleen paid this lady in full at the soonest possible opportunity. Colleen had invited her to come see the dogs she refused, and sent animal control to go and check the dogs and they felt that Colleen was doing a wonderful job, she also has all of the paper work to prove the legitimacy of her losses she always has an autopsy done so she can further prevent deaths of similar situations.
Colleen is the most honest and good willed woman I know, she is loving mother who has suffered greatly in her own health, her son and her dogs are her life she cares for them more than her own life.
This woman is nothing but a pumped up brood who even after this letter, sent her sister to get a dog for her ( she was still wanting to get a dog from Colleen)
Colleen will only sell dogs to people she deems as ethical. This lady as you can see from her post also has tried using more than one name. What could possibly be ethical about that?
This report by Shayna or what ever her real name is, is nothing but a bitter womans slander. She is nothing but a child who couldn't get her way and is having a tantrum.
