I was told by the Pursers desk on our first formal dining that I was to put on a jacket to cover my tattoos. I asked to borrow hers due to I did not bring a jacket because the dress code was smart casual. I was told on the second formal night that I also needed to put on a long sleeve shirt that there were no short sleeves allowed in the main dining room. I took notice of approximated 25 men who were wearing button up polos with short sleeves and when i pointed them out the host had a lost of words. I tried to get into Nick & Noras supper club and I was told they were booked and seconds after my Fiances mother walked up and had no problem with getting a table for 3; however she apologized politely and said no thank you. I was discriminated several times on the Carnival Miracle and those times I did not eat dinner due to not having a buffet like they explained in the brochure.

I am taking this to an attorney because of being hurt, discriminated and treated unfairly by the higher up staff. I had a women approach me the next day and she said to me that she heard the whole story and she noticed a chinese couple sittin by them that had only shorts and t-shirts on with flip-flops looking like they just came from the beach. Carnival was unfair to me and treated me horrible.

'I was told on the second formal night'

If you don't know what 'formal night' means, then don't go.

Let's be honest....it was about outfit, not tattoos.

Are you saying you were discriminated against because you have tattoos on your arms? Are you sure that's the whole story? I've been on many cruises, including several with Carnival. Believe me, you were not the first tattoo lover to visit a Carnival ship. On 23 cruises, I have never seen a person turned away from the dining room for tattoos.

I've seen people turned away. But it was due to inappropriate clothing (ie..shorts, swim trunks, sandals, tank tops). The dining room has a dress code, and most ships enforce it.....rightfully so.

I'm also a little hesitant to believe your buffet comment......actually, very hesitant. Miracle's Horatio's Restaurant on the lido deck is the buffet restaurant and it is open every single day for breakfast, lunch and dinner...with no dress code. Also, there is 24/7 room service. Your comment about not eating dinner makes no sense.
