Went on a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Carnival Sensation out of Port Canaveral, Florida on November 11, 2012.  The first night out at 1:30 in the morning, I heard what signing like a hammering noise coming from the ceiling.  I thought something was being repaired.  Couldn't sleep.  The next night, I heard the same noises and called guest services.  They informed me that my "premium room" was under the galley and they would ask them to try to keep the noise down.  No sleep the second night.  I called guest services again and was offered another room.  Talked to my cabin mate and she did not want to pack up and move as she spent very little time in the cabin.  I told guest services that my cabin mate did not want to move, but that I would move to the other cabin.  They told me that I could not move unless my cabin mate moved also. 

They wouldn't even give me a credit on my account for not being able to get much sleep.  I am very disappointed and don't think I will cruise with Carnival again.  A $50 credit would not have hurt them and might have saved them a customer.
