Carnival Cruiseline Thrown Overboard on Carnival Cruiseline (all 50 of us) Miami Florida
Over 50 friends booked and paid deposits for a Carnival Cruise on 9/12/08 going from Los Angeles for 3 nights.
Last week (6/15) we were all notified (3 months after booking) that Carnival had rented the whole boat out to an individual group and we were out, bye-bye. Our choices...get back our deposit or move the cruise to San Diego for 4 nights or pick another weekend (if they had availability).
Those of us that had already made flight arrangements to L.A....too bad. Those of us who cannot leave work a day earlier..too bad.
Those of us who had other plans in Los Angeles...too bad. The boat, which was almost fully booked, got bumped so Carnival could make a better deal for themselves (after accepting deposits).
What else was offered...nothing. Not even an apology. They just care about the immdiate buck.
