Carolina Cabinet Works dishonest business, poor workmanshp Spartanburg South Carolina
We paid the owner of this business, Lee Jeffords, $9,000 to construct custom cabinets for our new home. We had an agreement for a cap of $7,000. We paid the extra $2,000 for work that was not included in the original agreement.
When the cabinets were installed, Mr. Jeffords claimed that we never had a cap agreement, and wanted an extra $2,000. We refused to pay.
Then, a few months later, the paint on all of our cabinets began to peel off in large chunks. The paint is laquer, and cannot be touched up. Mr. Jeffords refused to return phone calls or respond to letters.
We filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, and he responded with the same lies that he had given us. He refused even to mediate the dispute.
If anyone in the Upstate of South Carolina is even thinking of using this dishonest man to construct cabinets, please think again.
