On or about June 07, 2008, CCI employee, Scott Zachary; Sales Manager, began leaving harassing messages on CampbellSales.com's answering machine stating he, "called the customer and made sure that they had only paid their ten percent down," and that he was, "going to process these two orders just to save face to the customer."

On June 27, CCI's employee, Scott Zachary, left a message on CampbellSales.com's voicemail claiming, "...We just found out that customer Stanley Watson that you sold a building on 3/19/08 -- We installed it on 4/10/08. Stanley Watson faxed us over a canceled check where they paid you in full $3,510.64." CCI goes on to say, "We need to collect from you $3,510.64. Otherwise, we'll be forced to prosecute and go to Small Claims Court once again...And we will be closed all next week for the week of Fourth of July."

On or about April 19, 2008, customer, Stanley Watson paid CampbellSales.com in full for his carport installed April 10, 2008. This check was written out to CCI & CampbellSales.com. CampbellSales.com endorsed the back of this check and mailed it immediately to CCI. According to this check's endorsement, CCI deposited this check into CCI's account on our about May 08, 2008.

On July 9th, 2008, Scott Zachary left another message on CampbellSales.com's voicemail stating, "I'm calling in regard to the Stanley Watson order, uh, of which you collected in full. Uh, I do have their canceled checks from the bank that they paid CampbellSales.com $3,510.64." CCI goes on to say, "I know that you guys are working up at Classic Buildings and I'll try to compile a little bit of information here so we can get this taken care of..."

Confirmation has been received to CampbellSales.com, CCI has spoken with the owner of Classic Buildings and his sister, alleging CampbellSales.com owes CCI $3,510.64. Other defaming phone calls were made.

CCI filed a fraudulent lawsuit against CampbellSales.com on July 17, 2008, alleging CampbellSales.com owe CCI $3,510.64. Defendant did not send written notice to CampbellSales.com, informing CampbellSales.com of Defendant's allegations.

After much effort, CampbellSales.com procured a copy the canceled check from a very unhappy Mr. Stanley Watson, who will testify that CCI threatened to remove his building for nonpayment. Mr. Watson will also testify that, twice, he had to fax a copy of his canceled check to CCI.

On July 23, 2008, the day CampbellSales.com informed CCI's corporate office of the new web site; because of lack of communication, CCI employee, Mindy Brundridge, faxed a notice to the Crawford County Circuit Court, a statement that "Carolina Carports, Inc. vs CampbellSales.com wish to dismiss this case." The Clerk of The Court's testimony will reveal Mindy Brundridge first said words to the effect of, "We'd like to dismiss the case because they paid."

On August 8, 2008, CCI's attorney, Mr. Jody P. Mitchell, sent CampbellSales.com a letter threatening to sue CampbellSales.com if CampbellSales.com did not delete the website; CarolinaCarportSales.com, alleging CampbellSales.com violated the use of CCI's "trade name," citing the Lanham Act. Carolina Carports is not a trademark name. CampbellSales.com responded to CCI's counsel by letter explaining the rules of law governing complaint sites.

Our most obvious complaint 'was' the fact CCI ignored us, referring us back to the Missouri branch management team to whom we are complaining about. The one letter from their "family law" attorney, is the only communication received to date. Not so much as, "We're sorry," just threats.

CCI renegging on contract with my business now

#2Consumer Comment

Fri, November 11, 2011

I recently filed my own report here on ripoffreport.com as we now are sadly being victims too of CCI not following through on a legal signed agreement to build us a custom designed structure for our customer's site.

We already have staretd a BBB investigation into their practices as well as filed complaint with NC Atty General's offices and speaking to legal council here for defamation and discriminatory factors they have made against my own business affecting my operatiions.
