Carolina Leisure Time, Lou tuffillaro In 2010 my husband and I were awarded 50k in a court of law against Lou tuffillaro as he was found guilty of fraud. He has refused to pay and has told my attorney he has no intention of paying. I cont Morrisvillle, Internet
In 2008 Lou tuffillaro ( employee of Carolina leisure time) took 12k of our money for a downpayment for a sunroom that he was to build. He disappeed with the money. We took him to court and we were awarded 50k for fraud ( turns out he lied a out having a current license) and for all of our legal fees, which continue to mount. He has stated to law officials that he has no intention of paying us what he owes because he was out of work and had no money. When I called Carolina leisure time to talk about my situation I was essentially ignored. The day after I called there was a car outside my house all day with a man giving me threatening looks. I called my husband in fear...when he got home the car was gone. I have no doubt it was someone from Carolina leisure time, or a friend of Lou's.
My husband and I are two hard working people who are only guilty of trusting a con artist. Law enforcement (Deputy Trice) and my attorney Jim pendergrass have basically told my husband and I that are chances of ever getting any of what we lost is slim to none, and on top of that my family is being threatened for only trying to get what is legally ours.
I'm not sure what else to say or do.
Thanks for your time.
