Caroline Bennett writes on her Twitter - "Photography is so important for showing us how life is in the most remote nooks of the planet."  "Shaking the world awake." Shaking the world awake, how so and since when? Since it became trendy and the whole world became obsessed with the idea of "revolution" and protests. Prior to even 6 months ago, Caroline Bennett mentioned nothing of "action" or "photoactivist" or anything of the sort. Now that it is trendy and given that Caroline Bennett is an opportunist - she is trying to cash in on the trend of the moment by marketing herself, marketing her brand as action. Caroline Bennett has mooched and creeped her way into the public's pockets to fund her world travels to the "most remote nooks on the planet." Like a typical American narcissist, Caroline Bennett rationalizes that this inappropriate behavior is okay. Who has the audacity to repeatedly post and promote their own personal business on an NGOs Facebook page of 50,000? Caroline Bennett.

Caroline Bennett lives a luxury life in the state of California yet has to use the photos she takes on the Amazon Watch dime and time for her own personal artist career?  Isn't it time that people woke up and stopped looking the other way to these narcissist Americans who want to throw us scraps while they continuely get a free ride?  Caroline Bennett must stop using the *work* she does on and for Amazon Watch *dime and time.* Caroline Bennett can afford to travel on her own holiday time to "exotic nooks of the planet" to gather her own photographs and poems from children. Caroline Bennett states that it is storytelling and that she donates her images. That is outright lies the majority of the photos taken haven been on Amazon Watchs public donations and time which translates to public donations promoting Caroline Bennetts artist career. Go to her personal "artist" Facebook page and you will see the poem that was written by a child in Brazil that was filmed when she was in Brazil for work with Amazon Watch. Now this is on her personal Artist Facebook page begging the public for money while playing with their heart strings. Caroline Bennett states that she just "happened to stumble across the poem" the child wrote while in the next breath begs the public for donations for Amazon Watch - very manipulative marketing stradegy but nothing new as the people of Ecuador know all to well Caroline Bennett's tricks, lies and manipulations - and this is why we speak out. 
 
On behalf of many people in Ecuador, I act as an advocate for them as the American Caroline Bennett took advantage of many Ecuador people. The people didnt know it at the time but Caroline Bennett worked hard to gain the peoples trust, took their photographs without permission and then used those photos to exploit the Ecuador people by making money from them. I repeat, Caroline Bennett did not ask for permission to take photographs of the people of Ecuador and then use them for her own personal Caroline Bennett Artist Show. Typical American behavior, walking over people using and manipulating for profit. Caroline Bennett is the typical imperialist profiteer. Caroline Bennett looks trustworthy and pretends to be nice but that is only because she wants something like a typical egomanical American. Caroline Bennett is very sly, slick and hurt many people in Ecuador by her manipulation. Caroline Bennett was an atrocious beast to the people of Ecuador but this is what Americans do. They come to the poor countries and pretend to help, pretend to be the poor peoples saviors so that they can try to feel good about themselves but really what they are doing is trying to promote their own agenda whatever the agenda may be in this case, it is the Caroline Bennett Show. This woman is worst kind of gringa. Do people really believe that when she is on some exotic trip in some exotic country for Amazon Watch - that she is standing there thinking, wow, I'm helping people. No, the truth is that she is thinking is, "Wow, this photograph is going to look awesome on my website, on my Facebook Page and it will look even more greater hanging in a photo gallery at a fancy photo exhibition."

Caroline Bennett should not be using the photos that she takes for Amazon Watch to promote her own personal artist career. The public donations to Amazon Watch are not for the promotion of Caroline Bennett's personal gain, attention, spotlight. Public donations to Amazon Watch are being misappropriated - so please be aware of this is you choose to donate to Amazon Watch. Caroline Bennett writes that she goes to "the most remote nooks of the planet." The truth and reality is that the public donations to Amazon Watch is what made/makes Caroline Bennett's photos possible "in the most remote nooks of the planet." Considering these photographs are made possible by the public's donations to Amazon Watch - there is a very high level of hubris - something incredibly obnoxious and arrogant about this sort of statement - as though, unless someone is able to travel to get to these remote nooks of the planet to engage in "photography," all is somehow lost. The audcity to write this is serious narcissism as without the public donations to Amazon Watch - Caroline Bennett would not be in those remote nooks of the planet. Do not trust Caroline Bennett's manipulation, grandious hubris and smooth talk of trying to get you to donate because it is all for her. She does not care about the people, she does it for her own gain, accolades, to be seen as an "activist" - she pretends and like many Americans is good at charming you out of money like a snake oil salesman. On a further note, Caroline Bennett is the worst kind of gringa, she is not an activist or a "helper" - she's a smooth talking petty thief. I don't like to make into an "American" issue but Caroline Bennett's arrogance and conceit fits the stereotype - I know not all Americans are like this.
These photographs were taken and paid for by the Amazon Watch public funding - Caroline Bennett is using these photographs to promote her own personal career - which means that the people who donate to Amazon Watch are directly supporting Caroline Bennett's personal artist career.
