Carpet Mills of America came out to install new carpet in my home. One of the installers was carrying in a roll of padding and accidently raised it to high to the ceiling breaking my chandelier.

Carpet Mills of America refuses to pay the replacement cost of the chandelier. They only want to compensate me 1/3 of the value. I have refused the offer and want full compensation since they broke it.

Carpet Mills of America is taking responsibilty for the damage that accidently occured in Mr.Garcia home.

Carpet Mills of America found a similar chandelier and offered to purchase it for him or give him $150.00 refund and he can purchase one of his choice. He has refused. We sent him a letter and now are awaiting for his response in order to get this situation resolved.

But they do not like negative publicity. Be persistant in your cliam. The sub-contractor that did the damgage represents CMA, they are responsible for the entire cost of the chandelier, no matter what they think their contract says.
