At the end of Dec. 05, We had new carpeting installed at a building we own in Sidney. My husband asked them if the carpet had a tendency to pull and the seller said he has never seen it happen.

The first time the carpet was vacuumed it pulled a long wide strand right in the middle of a seam. It was very obvious and unsightly. We called the company The first week of January and they assured us they would send someone right away to check it an reglue if necessary.
No one ever came. Since then the carpet has bee pulling all over the place and we have called 7 times, still no one has come. The last time I called the man tried to say it's been too long for any guarantee.

The cartpet and installation cost us almost $2,000.00 and many hours work as we removed the old carpeting prior to the installation.

At the time of the installation we wondered why the were installing in so many cut strips instead of trying to lay as much uncut as possible.

The business were the carpeting was installed is unhappy and have refused to pay the rent, We are unhappy and don't know where to turn.

Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

I recently came across the posted complaint about our store. I have been here almost eight years, and the owner and I do not recall this incident. It seems very unlikely this was reported as many times as noted and we would not remember it. It is possible it was reported each time to the original salesman, who is no longer here. I was able to backtrack and find what I think is the original invoice though. This was not a $2000 sale as stated, and they failed to ionform that they purchased the least expensive carpet we had available. As with a lot of things, you get what you pay for. Never-the-less, we do not want a reputation for ignoring complaints, we always try to please our customers (when they have reasonable requests).
