Carribean Cruise Lines best cruise get away(dot)com; Port of Palm Beach(dot)org; independent survey group PHONEY SURVEY SCAM repeatedly violates Do Not Call List, Internet

After getting six calls from the same phoney survey company since I joined the federal do not call list, I decided to play along to get enough information to identify these clowns.

They call with an ostensible political survey, and in return for taking the survey they offer you a free cruise for two after compelting the survey.

The call is then transferred to "Carribean Cruises" who claims to be the 'Official' cuise site for the Port of Palm Beach (dot) org. They defintiely do not want to send email confirmations of the offer. What they want is to get your credit card information DURING THIS PHONE call!

I played it out, and then asked "Julia, Operator ID #BZ4588 if she'd prefer to get a supervisor of just have me file the FCC complaint agaisnt them for violating the do not call lsit. Julia was very helpful.  She gave me the websites info, etc...although the one from her organization seems to be a dead link. ( bestcruisegetaway.com ). She even got her supervisor for me.

Mr. Frank Hammond is the "closer". He argued their right to call me; overrode (spoke over) my statements  out talk me, and eventually told me to go F___ myself.

I filed an FCC complaint a little while ago and urge all others to do the same.  The cruise line website 'contact info' just goes to another travel agency so I gave up there.  My next compalint will be to the City of Palm Beach and their Chamber of Commerce.

Apparently they feel insulting people is the best way to get new business rather than simply crossing my number off their list or deleting it from tehir robo-caller.

This company called me DOZENS of times. The original poster is right, the political survey is exploiting a loophole in the TCPA (FEDERAL) law to sell cruises which are nothing but a front for timeshare sales. These timeshares are sold by Berkely group, and it's nothing but a SCAM!!!

I am involved in a lawsuit against these sleazeballs, and I will prevail!

Free is FREE. If you fell for the "port fee" scam, and got hosed into a timeshare sales pitch and ACTUALLY ENJOYED IT, more power to you, but don't belittle those of us who were absolutley literally tortured by these phone calls. One would have been acceptable, On the first, I politely declined, but the dozens of calls that followed were blatant and willfull violations of federal law.

You, madam, are an idiot. I hope you bought a timeshare from them. It would serve you right.

I know the call takes a long time, and they want your credit card, but who doesn't these days??

Almost Everything is done by credit cards today! These people are doing a job & are human.. if you treat them nasty, of course you're going to get negative response! I took this cruise & it was the best thing I ever did!

I upgraded, which is the purpose of them giving away a free cruise, to make money on upgrades... but even at that, the cruise was well worth it! and much cheaper than it would of been without using that company!

It's such a shame that people have nothing to do but complain & try to ruin others!

I came here to give positive feed back & am SHOCKED at the non-sense complaints I'm seeing here. Grow up people!
