He's Baaak! Marc Labate has reformed his companies of 5 Star Allied and Allied Construction in Austin Texas to Copperhead Construction. He and his wife, Theresa Labate, have been engaging in criminal activities as general contractors for many years. Their latest victim is Carrie (above). This scam involves contracting to do work, then doing little of the work and over billing, then suing for "breach of contract" followed by threats and putting a bogus complaint on Rip Off Report when they dare to complain. I am a victim of one of his scams as well.
The good news is that I found out that Labate (aka Bate) is under indictment for 3 felonies involving this kind of thing as of Sept. 2011. If you have been a victim of Labate or Copperhead Construction in Austin, Texas, please contact the Travis County District Attorney's Office and ask for Jaime Slaughter. They will be very interested in what you have to say. A picture of he and his wife is attached.

He's baaak! Contractor/criminal Marc Labate has reformed his former company of 5 Star Allied and Allied Construction to Copperhead Construction. He and his wife Theresa Labate have been running a criminal enterprise in Austin for some years now. One of his many scams is to overbill or under perform on contracts, then sue for breach of contract when the client complains. This is what happened to Connie, with the further insult being a bogus negative comment on Rip Off report.

I am Carrie Bissonette and I found Marc Labate on Craigslist after the normal contractor I use on a rental property my Mother owns (Carolyn G. Allen) was not able to do the work because he had another job. I googled Copper Head Construction that he owns and saw, according to his website that he did Mozarts and Chuy's so I figured he must be reputable. Please see the Fox 7 news report below and I think I do not need to defend myself any longer. I also ask that you type in his name on this website and Google and see for your self what kind of person I am dealing with. I am even scared for my safety. I can not ask you enough to please stay clear of this man!
