 I was initially satisfied with the Furnace Tune Up that was provided by Carroll Home Services, but I admit, I did not take off the furnace cover and inspect the inside.  When the technician said everything was fine, I beleive him.  Approximately two months later, I hired a Duct Cleaning company to clean my air ducts.  This person showed me the filthy furnace and asked when was the last time that it was cleaned.  I told him less than 2 months ago.  I had to pay the duct cleaning company $125 to clean the furnance in order to proceed with the scheduled duct cleaning.

When I called Carroll Home Services, the person I spoke to said that they would issue me a credit, aplogized for the inconvience and said that they he would the project manager call me back.  After several attempts, I finally spoke with Mr. Neal.  His response was "you should have called us and we would have cleaned it".  Excuse me - hind sight is great, there's no way you would have sent someone immediately out to my house to clean the furnace and I was not going to send the other company away, take time off work again and reschedule the duct cleaning.  Mr. Neil offered no resolution and no apology.  I told him if Carroll Home Services can not afford $125 to solve a repeat customer's complaint, I did not want to do business with them again.  Never heard back from anyone at HCS.  I have used them for both air conditioning and furnance maintance, but will not recommend them in the futue.
