Cars Protection Plus Didn't honor contract Murrysville, Pennsylvania
The protection plan indicates that the camshaft and crank shaft components are covered under the Engine/Fuel System in the contract.

When I took my car to mercedes benz of Plano, Texas they diagnosed the problem as the right intake camshaft magnet/solenoid. When my service manager called to see if this was covered they denied the claim stating that they didn't cover any "solenoid" camshaft problems.
This was only a $190.40 claim. I spoke to the adjuster and he indicated they didn't cover that particular problem. I asked why the contract indicates this part is covered and he said not the "solenoid."

I took my car back to mercedes and they diagnosed the problem as the crankshaft sensor and the camshaft solenoids. The the cost was over $700 for parts and labor. They covered $123 of this bill and took out my $100 deductible so they paid $23.
