Complaint Review: Cartersville Auto Lending

I purchased my car here on 1/19/15, I have been trying to get my tag and title processed since. On 3/5/15 my dealer tag expired, I went to the tag office to see if my tag was ready and I was advised that the title had not been processed in my name. I contacted the dealership and I was advised they was working on it and to request a extention tag from the tag office. I requested the extention but was refused because the dealer had not had an emissions inspection done. I advised this to the dealer and they told me no problem take the car and get the inspection and send them a receipt and proof of emissions and they would refund my cost. I done this and sent them the receipt got my extention tag. Since then I have not received the refund they promised for the emissions, and made multiple attempts to follow up with regards to it and the tag and title.

Every time I call I'm told the manager will call me back. One girl even advised she had sent urgent request to the tag and title processor and the refund request. I spoke to them again on 3/20/15 and asked what was going on with the tag and got the same oh the manager will call you in a little while. Theu never called I called back at the end of the day and was told the manager didn't come back in to return my call I advised the receptionist that I would be coming on 3/21/15 to return my car as I had spoken with attorneys and the Governors office of consumer protection and they advised me the company was in breach of contract and I had every right to demand a refund of my money.

I also called the finance company that financed the car and advised them the same. They said that they understood and that it was on the dealer to provide the emissions tag and title and do what I needed to do. Upon arrival I took Bartow County officers with me to keep things peaceful and witnesses.  Theyes then make an excuse the manager has the flu and can't be there and that they had a management change and the old manager changed the address and they couldn't receive any mail so they did realize until a few days earlier that the place they got the car had made a mistake on the title work and it had to be corrected before they could send it back in. Well I said ok prove it, show me the paper work. They couldn't produce it.

They told the officer to make me leave and I advised I wanted to take warrants on the company for theft by conversion as they took money from me and had not delivered as promised. The officer wouldn't do that advising they was not in violation of it as I have a car. I advised the officer that yes I physically have a car but it is illegal to drive it as I don't have current registration.  He wouldn't do it so I then requested his road supervisor to come out. The road supervisor spike with me and the dealer and agreed to file the report and have investigators look into theft by conversion. I have been cursed, hung up on, and lied to by Brittany and Ms King. As well as the receptionist and I don't recall her name. This place is a joke and I hope anyone who sees this will not give these people their money.
