Complaint Review: Cary Kopczynski & Company Inc. PS

Folks:

I didn't believe what I overheard on the radio in Seattle the other day. I thought I was hallucinating.  I was not. I overheard a phone conversation of alleged male menopause sufferer Cary Kopczynski telling a potential structural engineering hire that (s)he was unprofessional because (s)he requested a status update of an interview request that Aiko Hollinger aka petite model Aiko Christine made over 45 days ago on behalf of Cary Kopczynski. This engineer had been unemployed for almost 18 months and hasn't been able to find full time work through no fault of their own. Thanks to Cary's conversation, I believe that
engineering is no longer the most trusted profession that it claims to be.

When I found out who Cary did this to, I was even more shocked. I contacted this person and asked for more details to back up the claims they were making. I got plenty of information. This person was a California-licensed Structural Engineer with over 13 years experience. This person saved his/her clients over $120 million. I contacted the clients myself. And this person happens to be a media personality all over the United States with a large radio following in may of the top 20 media markets in the U.S. and a few in Canada. One such station is KGO radio, owned by ABC-Disney, which owns ESPN Game Day, the same station where Aiko Hollinger appeared as head cheerleader at Gonzaga University.  There's not too many people out there that are engineers and media personalities out there. KOMO Problem Solver Tracy Vedder called this person the go-to person if she wanted to know about a bad structural engineering firm. Currently, this person is assisting KOMO-TV in discovering the causes of the 520 bridge issues. Now KOMO
TV can add Cary Kopczynski to their bad engineer list.

I think when Cary says that his team is made up of friendly, hard working people who contribute to the camaraderie and welcoming culture, I do not believe it anymore. What was Structural Engineer magazine and Zweig White thinking when CKC was nominated the best structural engineering firms to work for in both 2008 and 2009?  I think it was just a lie.

Cary should realize he's unique, alright. Cary's such an innovator that he screwed over his own city. He's so dumb he actually screwed over the tax base of his own city. Cary lives in Issaquah, WA, the location that is the headquarters of Costco, the 8th largest retailer in the world. What Cary fails to realize is that he harassed the person who made his city of residence have lots of taxpayer money by giving Costco plenty of money-making ideas. If it weren't for this person, children would be drinking apple juice with arsenic, the state of Arizona would still be arresting people for no reason whatsoever, obese people would be drinking sodas laced with high fructose corn syrup, and local products would not be sold at Costco warehouses nationwide promoting more local jobs in the areas where Costcos are located. With idiot taxpayers like Cary Kopczynski, who needs political enemies?

Well, Cary told this individual that they were not good enough for business. I had to laugh when I heard this because this person has assisted many Democratic and Republican politicians on engineering projects. This person has been featured on Clark Howard's radio show. This person even received the attention of Washington State Governor Christine Gregoire. Why are this person's ideas not good enough for Cary Kopczynski then? I guess it's because Cary only will use ideas that he creates himself.

Cary sent this potential candidate an email requesting an interview and when the person followed up, they never got a response back via email. When they requested a Skype interview, they never got it. How would I know there was an email problem on Cary's end?  Did Cary ask this person questions why they felt this way? Cary didn't because Cary responded very badly. Guess Cary really doesn't work well with others, perhaps. If this is how Cary responds to an email for an interview, I would hate to see how he responds to his clients. Does this mean that Cary discriminates against the long-term unemployed and causes them to become homeless? I think so. If the person were employed, they would be able to take a flight up to Bellevue, WA, and interview Cary because they had money. When someone is unemployed, they have no money to do this on a whim. Do you think Cary would make arrangements to interview this person? I
don't know, but according to his Craigslist ad, he will pay for relocation for these potential employees that he hires. For Cary's inconvenience, we have made a copy of it for everyone to see.

Cary instead threw a temper tantrum when they emailed why they felt that their business could be in trouble because of the way they response to potential employees. This person even emailed studies on
the issue to prove their point. This was not meant to be an attack on Cary personally, but to save Cary's butt! In the age of social media, reputation is everything. Instead of asking questions why they felt this way, Cary lashed out at the candidate. I heard the entire conversation on live radio. I couldn't believe it and even posted an MP3 of it on iTunes.

The reason I believe Cary did this was because he really doesn't want money saving structural engineers at his company. I believe it is a scam where money-saving engineers are not hired because it would interfere with some of his contracts, like the ones where the fees are paid as the job is complete. When someone with more efficiency like this person works on them, the firm loses the money because all of the hours cannot be billed. I may be wrong, but it certainly appears this way. I would love to hear Cary discuss whether this is true. I would like Cary to prove me wrong.

Judging by the LinkedIn profiles I have seen, his firm has very high turnover. I even sent a copy to the OIG office where Cary will have the potential to lose his GSA contracts in the future.

Now, Cary would be wise to use this person's talents to help his firm make money. Instead, Cary Kopczynski has become construction's job killer. Cary should be apologizing to this person right now and
begging them to come to work for him. Instead, it appears Cary rolled over and played dumb. If people want an engineering firm they can learn to hate, it's the Bellevue, WA, based Cary Kopczynski.

Now, this person has contacted some of the politicians who are introducing laws banning discrimination
against the long-term unemployed. They loved hearing Cary's famous temper tantrum and are now considering introducing this legislation.  Cary's one of the reason structural engineers are becoming a more
distrusted occupation, ranking up there with car salesmen and attorneys.

Thanks to Cary's bad actions, his firm is engineering stupidity you can count on!
