CASA Jeep And Chrysler Mark,s Casa Jeep outrageous charges Albuquerque, New Mexico
I took my car in to have the car examined after a check engine light came on.
There was a $95.00 charge for the diagnosis. The computer determined the fuel filter was clogged. Having had many vehicles and many fuel filters changed at quick lube places I gave them the go ahead to change the filter.
When I picked up the car I had beem charged an additonal $200 for the fuel filter and the cost to spin off the old filter and spin on the new filter. I objected but was given a shrug by the service guy and the cashier. I asked to speak to the manage or the facility. We callled his office and he was occupied with a customer. I told the receptionist I would walk up to the office and wait. I walked to his office to see him hightailing it out the door. His receptionist let me know he would not return for several hours.
I called NAPA and priced the filter $35.00. I called my local oil change company and was given a price of $15.00 for installation.
Sounds like we have another dealer with similar practices to Zangara Dodge who recently went out of business.
With the auto business in such straits one would think a great effort would be made to be fair and honest. Oh well. Guess the get it where they can. My guess is this is another government car company who is on the way out.
Hope you dont have to deal with these bandits.
Good luck if you have to visit.
