Cash Advance USA Smith Loan Assistance Threatened to sue for payment of supposed payday loan Texas Internet
I was contacted on June 29,2016,by email by a Gregory Williams from Cash Advance USA, regarding a supposed payday loan taken out Dec. 2013. The amount of the loan ,he claimed was $300,but with "associated fees" was $860. He could settle today for $300;if not legal charges would be filed against me. I haven't worked in several years so taking out a loan wouldn't have worked. When asked why his email is smithloanassistance.net, he stated many companies are used for lending/collection. He was Indian,very mocking and derogatory. His comment was that he would expect $200 payment,by Pay Power,by July 25,2016. The corresponding email said he would notify me by email one day prior on how to submit payment. I have contacted my personal attorney and will also forward all info to the Ohio District Attorney regarding this.
