cash for ipones quoted $143 - paid $11 took over 3 months to process Internet
CashforiPhones.com apparently has a long trail of dissatisfied customers who were quoted one price and paid something considerably less. They make it difficult to talk to anyone and they do NOT respond to emails (even while they encourage you to contact them that way).
In my case I was selling a Verizon iPhone 4s 16 gig phone. It was very was very well taken care of (always in a case, with a face protecive covering on, and it was never dropped or scratched). I even returned it back to them in the original box with my never used earphones!
I was quoted $143.00 and after almost 3 months was finally paid $11.00. - that's right $132.00 LESS than quoted.
Halfway thru the sellback process, they emailed me (notice - they didn't call me) & said there was an issue with ESN of the product, I called my carrier and validated the ESN and contacted them back via email (phones never were answered) with the ESN and directed them to validate the numbers with one another and if there was ANYTHING that may cause them to NOT meet the quoted price or if there was any other issue, to PLEASE call me and then return the phone to me ASAP.
I was NEVER contacted back again until I got an email stating payment was being processed - imagine my surprise when the $143 was actually $11. Woo h*o-
I will be also filing a report with my state's attorney general's office as a brief search on the internet displayed many similar issues with customers.
Stay away from this company is all I can say.
