Cash For Laptops SCAM ALERT! Do not do business with this company. They quote a price and then deliver an unheard of quote for your device ( $54 for a new iPad mini 2 64gb). Then they obstruct you when you call to have your item returned. Internet
Please do not do business with this company. You will definitely regret it.
i received an estimate quote of $303 for my lightly used (2mths)'iPad mini 2 64 gb. I still had the box and had never taken the cords out of the box, because I used my phone cords. Of course I didn't think i would get the entire $300 quote, but something in the mid 200's seemed fair.
I called the company and requested that my device not be processed until I agreed on the actual price they rendered. The next day I received an email stating that they would give me $54 for an ipad minI 64gb and that my check is being processed. WHAATTT!
of course by then the office was closed. I started calling at the break of dawn the next day ONLY to be caught in a phone maze of SCAM and STALL! They only have one number and they will refer you to purchasing ---who never answers and conveniently disconnects after a 10 minute hold time.
when I called back, I asked that a note be put on my account that "I would like my device returned and do not process a $54 check for me, just return the device". I was told that they could do that, but it would not be enforced until I actually speak with the purchasing dept. WHAAATTT! Didn't I mention that they aren't answering???
At this point I believe when and if ever I get through to purchasing my iPad mini will be well on its way to someone else, if it isn't already. I chalk this up to stupid tax on my part, but please learn from my mistake.
