I paid the loan and now the say I didn't and the loan was for $250, they say I own $1580, and they will not accept a money order as payment, they want my new bank information. $1580 payback for a $250 loan? Geeze!
Don't give them ANY of your personal banking information. You'll get cleaned out guaranteed. Send them written notice returned receipt that you are not to be contacted at work. Then every time they do it's a FDCPA violation. Debtorboards.com and Budhibbs.com has some good info on how to deal with debt collectors. Good luck!
