From reading, I am yet another unfortunate victim of Cashcall's harrassment. I took out a loan with them last November(2006). I paid the payments up until I lost my job in July of this year. You certainly do not get any breaks from them. I have been treated with disrespect since I have been unable to pay. I have over $800 in overdrafts at my bank because despite my verbally stating on several occasions that they are not to debit my account, they still have. They have said they need it in writing despite the fact that I have to fax it to them and have no fax machine.

I have updated my address with them on several occasions, only to have the address not updated and then not get paperwork from them that they are sending. They call me several times a day, every day of the week. They call my family. My former mother-in-law asked 3 times to have her name removed as a reference and that they stop calling. She finally had to fax them a letter threatening to sue them if they did not stop, as they said they removed her information but did not.

I am frustrated as they are harrassing me and my family. I am a single parent, I do intend to pay the loan, but until I get my finances straight, I cannot. They are threatening to sue me. I am not sure at this point what to do since I have gotten ripped off so bad and they refuse to be decent human beings at any cost.

I spoke with one woman who told me that I obviously wasn't hungry enough and in bad enough circumstances because I wasn't asking for help to pay this loan. I tried explaining to her that I can't ask the people who are helping me pay my rent to help me pay a loan because I have to prioritize and it is more important that I have a roof over my child's head. She laughed and said I wasn't trying hard enough. What can I do?
