A few years back I caved in and used the dreaded Cahcall to get a loan. I needed the money to pay a large bill and signed the paperwork fair and square.

I have always been on time paying my bill for the past two years. BTW my loan was for $2400 and I have already paid over five thousand dollars and I am just now paying pricipal.

In Febuary of 2007 I couldn't make my payment. I work nights and began to receive phone calls during the day but I was sleeping and didn't answer the phone. I noticed that Cashcall would try to take money out of my account over and over again (to the tune of $300 dollars in NSF fee from my bank at 35 bucks a pop). The calls got worse and worse but they never left a message on my phone. It got so bad that I was getting 15-20 calls a day from them. No lie, I would get almost 20 calls a day.

Into the third week of Febuary I finally stay up can call them. I tell the rep on the phone that I can't make this month's payment but he may take Febuary's payment as well as March's payment on the first of March which is the normal date I pay the bill. He agrees and says I will get a late payment fee but no biggie.

For some reason I kept getting calls from them even after talking to the rep. I was told I was on a dialer and that it wouldn't happen again. But alas, I still got calls up to 20 a day. Over and over again I spoke to them telling them what I told the last rep. Sometimes I would stay up to answer their calls just to be hung up on as soon as I said hello.

I tried to call them on Febuary 26 to let them know they could take the payment out then but I got no answer on either the 26th or the 27th. (I was on hold twice for over an hour on the 26th) I was later told they were moving thier offices and didnt' answer the ohones those two days.

On the 2nd of March I get a call from the collections department of Cashcall. I explain to the guy that I tried to call them and that as far as I could see, they had taken one payment out but not two as requested. He explains that they can not take another payment out as they are only allowed by contract to take one payment a month and I have to moneygram the other. He then starts to dig about the payment for March and I told him it is out of my hands and out of my bank already, it just hasn't hit Cashcall's account yet. He gives me a little lip and I hang up.

The next day I get another call from collections and this guy (Juan) is totally oblivious to any conversation I have had with Cashcall in the past. I explain to him every conversation I have had to date and he says he doesn't care. I tell him he better care because it has already been worked out. They guy then tells me that I shouldn't treat him like a two year old and that he is going to just sue me if I don't change my attitude. I tell him he is harrassing me and that I don't want to talk to him anymore and I want to talk to a different rep and the guy tells me to call him back when I am in a better mood and hangs up on me.

I call them back and ask to speak to a supervisor. I got a nice lady who said she was a supervisor at Cashcall but for the wrong department. She goes on saying that she knows how I feel and that she screams at her cellphone providor monthly. SHe puts me on hold and says she is going to transfer me to the right person. While on hold, I get hung up on.

I call back and speak to another supservisor who tells me he doesn't understand why I am in collections in the first place. He says sorry for the other guy (Juan) and tells me that I will be taken off the auto dialer (I have heard that before) and that I will not get any other calls. He explains that I don't have to money gram anything and that they will take the payment out of my bank. He also gives me his number and tells me to call him if there are any further problems.

The same day I get a call from a lady who calls herself my "personal rep". She wants to know when I will be making Febuary and March's payments. I explain to her who I have talked to and what payments have already been made. She doesn't seem to care at that point and wants me to go money gram her money right away. I tell her I will do nothing of the sort and that she shouldn't be calling me at all.

I call my guy up (the supervisor) and he doesn't answer the phone. I leave a message with my account and contact info as well as the details about the call I just got.

Well a few days go by and no calls from Cashcall. I check my bank and both payments have been taken out of my account and have cleared both my end and thiers. But guess what, I get another call from a rep who wants to know when I will be making the payment. I calmly explain to that person that they are already made and he looks it up on his computer and agrees but just wanted to check to see if they had been made (even though they already cleared their end). He explains that I am on an auto dialer and that my info doesnt' come up till I pick up the phone.

I call my guy up again (the supervisor) who never seems to answer his phone and explain to him that I have yet again received a phone call from a "personal rep" regarding my account which was considered current. No reply as of yet.

So today I am sitting in the ICU waiting room at the hospital and guess who calls my cell? Cashcall! I answer calmly and ask why they are calling me. The rep says to me over the phone that she wanted to know if the payment had cleared. I calmly explain to her that not only did it clear my acount over a week ago, it was confirmed to have cleared into theirs as well and that I consider her phone call harrassment and I hung up on her.

Once again I call my guy back and tell him this has got out of hand and that he had better call me back and explain why I am told different things by different reps and supservisors who only tell me to forget what the last rep said because it isn't right. I ask him to explain why he tells me I will not get any more calls regarding this because he deemed the account current yet I still get calls. I tell him this on his voicemail calmly.

I have not received a return call yet.

Out of all of this, what bugs me the most is that I am told that this or that will happen or this or that is the way things are done and none of it adds up. One rep doesn't know what the other is doing and they all seem to know how it is done and everyone else is wrong. Even the supervisors conflict with what they tell me. This is not right and I feel I am being harrassed regardless of the circumstances.

If there was a lawsuit I would jump in head first. I am going to start recording the conversations (and let them know it) so I can build a case.

My Cashcall loan (all 200% interest rate's worth) was the worst mistake of my whole life. I would have been better off homeless and hungry.

EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM WITH ME WITH ALL THE STUPID CALLS THEY MAKE YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE COMMUNICATED THE LAST CONVERSATION WITH YOU. THEY TOO MESSED AROUND WITH MY ACCOUNT, FINALLY SENT CERTIIFED LETTER TELLING THEM TO CEASE AND DESIST ALL CONTACT BY PHONE. THAT DID STOP. THEY NEVER DID WORK OUT THE CONTRACT WITH ME AFTER 2 YEARS. I AM PAYING PRINIPLE ONLY AND THE REST WE CAN FIGHT OUT IN COURT.
