I received an alert on my credit report that Cass Lake shore reporting that I would outstanding balance with them. I immediately contacted the collection agency that they are working with for a quick resolution. I contacted all star credit bureau at 248-354-0500. I expressed to them that I did not believe I owe the entire balance. All star credit bureau said if I did not believe I owe the entire balance the only thing I could do is contact Cass Lakeshore. That was my second phone call, and I was informed that I need to contact Hartman and Tyner corporate office.

I immediately contacted Hartman and Tyner at 248-352-2010. I asked to speak with a manager in regards to a collection reporting on my credit bureaus. The nice secretary transferred me to the Manager for Hartman and Tyner credit Corporation; manager Mary. Mary informed me there was nothing she could do to help me out. Mary said I can only contact all star credit bureau. I asked Mary directly, you work with this company is there anything you can do? Mary stated, 'there is nothing I can do to help you, You can only contact them you're wasting your breath with me'
So for my fourth call of the day I contacted all star credit bureau yet again. All star credit bureau did the same thing they deflected the call back to corporate. The company you work with, Allstate credit bureau, states I can't do anything except for pay the balance in full. I explain to them I'm disputing the charges and I would like to speak with someone about the dispute. They then suggested I contact Cass Lake explain to them I dispute and they should be able to update the records.

My fifth call was back to Mary yet again. I explained to Mary what you told me is a complete 180 from the company you are working with, All Star credit bureau. I told Mary that the company that you guys are working with will not work with me and there has to be something you could do to assist me. Mary then said, 'there's nothing I can do, I told you this already, you need to contact all star credit bureau again'
I suggested to Mary, Maybe you can call that company and see why they're telling me they can't work with me. Mary said. Again there's nothing I can do for you. I then asked Mary if there's anyone else in your organization that I could speak with. Mary said she's the manager and there's no one else I could speak with. She kept repeating herself, I'm a manager I'm a manager I'm a manager. I said there has to be someone above you that can work with me. She said the only person above her is the owner of the company and the owner does not take phone calls. I said well does the owner or any other manager in your company have an email that I could send.? Mary then hung up on me.

I was baffled, here we have a gentleman calling in trying to resolve an issue and THE COMPANY doesn't want to help? How does any of that make sense???

My sixth call for the day, another call to Hartman and Tyner corporate office due to me just getting hung up on. I asked the secretary to speak with someone above Mary. The secretary told me Shane you're putting me in a hard spot I work with these people. She did end up transferring me to another lady that was extremely rude on the phone. Our conversations very quick and the other lady refused to give me any contact information to another manager. She said she was Mary's assistant. The assistant hung up on me after being coached in the background by Mary.I then called back to corporate, Seventh call for the day. Spoke with the secretary and the secretary was nice enough to give me corporate address and fax number. I could see the secretary was being pastored from Mary, she's very uncomfortable with even talking with me due to her fellow employees.
