Complaint Review: Castle Credit/ Abc Financing

well as i can see, this company gets around.... here is my husband's story,he's a marine.. he wasn't even out of his MOS school in camp lejune north carolina, and somebody stops him trying to get him and his friends to listen to some sales pitch.Iin retun they would of gotten a free laptop, so of course they did and almost 2 or 3 months later we are recieving these collection notices telling us that we have to pay off 3700 dollars

My husband was still in training so i called the company (castle credit) and asked what it was that cost soo much and why were we paying it? the represenatative told me that it was for a laptop, at that point i really didnt think about it so i told my husband about it. We set an allotment that way we could get it off of his credit, theni started to think, what laptop costs 3700 dollars? none!!! and the brand od the computer was Acer and that bran normally runs for about 700 or 800 dollars, and thats with taxes. Then i thought it was ridiculous, i then looked up the company again online and ran across all of these bad rip-off reports about them.

Then i did what most of you did, i called castle credit, and asked them about the financing company that sold our "contract" to them and the representative tol me that they had no contact numbers what so ever for them, and that the only number that abc financing gave them was the number for the computer if it was broken, i don't know but to me that sounds weird, i then asked my husband if he remembered signing anything and he said no, so i amd fighting like crazy to get this disputed because its making his credit really bad..., and you want to know the funny thing, when we got stationed here at pendleton, we met another marine who got the same scam... they really need to be stopped because it puts alot of marines i know in the hole with creditors, i hope some one can stop them...
