My nightmare started in Dec of 06 when I entered into a 3 year agreement with APX alarms. They had to return to my home three times to make their system work properly. They charged my debit card two times the first month, and SAI also charged my debit card the first month for a total of three charges - for the one day of service before the alarm failed to work properly. The second month SAI charged me twice. I cancelled my debit card, went onto montly billing, but they never updated the system.

In Aug of 07 I discovered they had never connected my front security screen to the system (per our contract) and as of today (Oct of 09) that has never been resolved.

They required me to change out my cellular monitoring unit because the old analog system had to be digital (by law). They tried to charge me $300.00 for that - it took them three installation attempts to get the new system to work, and then four follow up attempts perhaps three months later.

I cancelled in July of 09 - called them, sent three letters to them - one return receipt that I never got the receipt on - and three faxes (with records of transmission success). I was told to put the old system in the trash - they would not pick it up.

Now they say I can not cancel until I pay for the balance of the contract. The contract that they have not completed their obligations on yet - after over two years of knowing their were ommissions in their installation. They finally offer to make their system work properly - even though they told me to toss it out in the trash!

These people need to be sued - and I would be more than happy to discuss my horrid experience with these crooks - RICO comes to mind.

Any class action lawyer out there - get ahold of me as soon as you can!
