This company is operating a very deceptive scam to extract the maximum amount of money from customers. My wife decided to order the Cats Meow toy via their website after seeing the advert on TV but what should have been a two for the price of one order somehow turned into three "deluxe" toys with a final bill of $132.67

The second toy they give away for "free" isn't really free - you have to pay separate postage and handling for it. The website is very confusing and it looks as if you can update to a "deluxe" version of the toy for a small increase. The thing is that they then DOUBLE the postage and handling costs per toy. Even worse, it looks as if the 2 for 1 offer doesn't apply to the "deluxe" model. The third toy added to our order was also supposedly a deluxe toy but it was a different price to the others and of course there is a separate P&H charge for the extra item.

Finally there is no shopping basket on the website. No chance to review what you've ordered, no chance to amend your order or even cancel at the last minute. If that isn't illegal, it's certainly fraudulent because it's possible to click on various offers that pop up without realising that you're clocking up the final bill with no chance of backing out. If this isn't illegal it's certainly fraudulent as this isn't clearly stated on the website.

The site offers a chance of cancelling the order (which I did) but I believe this is another scam because the order shipped anyway. Because my wife used a debit card there was no chance of freezing the payment and we couldn't block the payment for three days which was too late as the goods were shipped asap. Currently trying to get our money back.
