Has anyone ever purchased from Cautivadora? If not, DON'T EVER. If so, sorry about being ripped off. I purchased a deal through LivingSocial on July 2 for a foldable, travel  hammock for $55. After I purchased the LivingSocial voucher, I then went to the Cautivadora site to claim my order only to find out that there was a $16 s+h fee to go with it. (pretty sure that wasn't in the fine print) . Whatever. Bought it anyways b/c I figured the sweet looking hammock was still a good buy for $71. On Aug 1 they FINALLY sent me confirmation that they shipped it out. (Wow! It took an entire month to process an order??) Whatever. Still wanted the d**n hammock. Then I noticed that the spot where there should be a tracking number was left blank. I calmly sent the company an email and requested the UPS tracking number. 2 days later they wrote me back and apologized but STILL didn't provide the tracking number! They did say they would reach out to UPS and get it for me. That was over 2 weeks ago.

I've emailed 3 times since then begging them to respond but with no response. Last week they sent out a mass email that basically stated there were now using Fed Ex and I should receive a tracking number directly from Fed Ex. So am I to believe they never really shipped it out via UPS like they originally stated? They also included a number to call their support line if you didn't get it. I called that number and it's a recording that stats that the number "has been temporarily disabled" and then hangs up. So I go to the website (which looks like it was designed when the internet was created) and they offer a number to customer service. Once you call that it stats that "customer service is busy but to leave a message." The site also offers the option to chat/ instant message with a live consultant 24 hrs a day but once you put in your info to engage a rep the site kicks back a msg and tells you that no one is available to speak with you. Welp, looks like they got me.

tl;dr - Don't EVER buy from Cautivadora and be informed that LivingSocial does not always partner with trusted companies.
