After a deal fell through regarding the sale and shipment of travel hammocks between Livingsocial and web-based company Cautivadora, I emailed Cautivadora's customer service line to find out when I would be receiving a refund of the 30.98 shipping fee they withdrew from my bank account. It had already been 4 months, and Livingsocial had already graciously canceled the order and sent me a 30.00 credit for goods and services offered by their company, as well as an apology note.

 

On the other end, I received an automated email from Cautivadora stating they would refund the shipping fee within 30 days of that notice, which never happened. Two months later, I have had no luck in contacting them, as they temporarily dosconnected their phone line. They will not respond to my emails, and I fear that I have fallen victim to a scam.
