Complaint Review: CBT Direct Skillsoft

I was looking for some education in the area of webmastering and Dreamweaver. There is an excellent school for that not far from where I live. However, CTB Direct got their clutches on me through their silver-tongued sales staff. They told me that they could match the local school tuition fees, and I wouldn't have to leave home to learn. That did sound convincing, in theory, and I succumbed to the sales talk. What a horrible mistake!! I should have gone to the local school, instead.

The materials CBT had were something out of kindergarten. The courses were extremely spotty, simplistically written. I talked to one of the "instructors" at CBT, and asked for help. The fellow I talked to was not too motivated to give answers and sounded more like a disgruntled ditch-digger. He was not at all scholarly or academically oriented. CBT has poor standards in that regard, among others.

The "support" people are excuse makers, arm twisters, obfuscutars, masters of avoidance. They couldn't care less about you; they just want your money in the worst way. They succeed in that, but in no other area.

I paid about $1500 and have nothing to show for it. Nothing!! I am going to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Florida. I have a feeling they have received other complaints regarding these con-artists and hucksters. I notice that there are many complaints at ripoffreport concerning this misfits of society.

Whatever else you do, stay away from these crooks. They will track you down somehow, and when they do, you'll now know to hang up on these "people."
