I joined CCA in November, hoping to make it a nicer Christmas for my children. I was foolish to give them my banking information and paid the initial $200 start up fee. I truely believed that I was applying for a credit card.

After they deducted the initial $200, I received the merrchandise package and knew it was nothing I would ever purchase anytthing.

I never sent back any of the "Sign and Return" to activate your benefits" materials.

Part of the package offers "Two Great Benefits" which are basically job loss and product insurance for $99 a piece, billed 30 days after account activation.

Since I never "Activated" the account, I wasn't concerned. Well, they now have $400 from me, and will not refund as they say I did not respond in writing at least 5 days prior to "Activation of Coverage".

They only billed my account 3 days ago, but say that the services are active so I'm out of luck.

I filed a claim with my bank (Bank of America) who was very helpful and am hoping I will be refunded that way.
