Hello. I just wanted everyone to keep an eye out for these guys. My wallet was lost or stolen yesterday and I woke up this morning with several fradulant charges one being $24.99 The entire night I thought I left it in the car so I didn't cancel my cards because I thought I knew where it was. from CCbill which is some kind of online billing company.

So I called the company today and spoke with Bredan who is supposedly a supervisor who told me even though my wallet was lost or stolen and info used without my authorization these charges are not fraudulant. Does this make sense to anyone? When I asked him for a hardcopy of the credit card and my signature on the authorization of course he couldn't provide it. Luckily my bank has been great in handling all of this, they credit my account for the fraudulant charges.

I just wanted to write and share my experience and say what a shame it is that there is no type of consumer protection and how easily it is for merchants to use any information they come across to make money. He told me I'd have to call the bank then call them on confrence call to discuss the matter. I already did that with Wal-Mart and that took all morning. The Wal-Mart charge was $347.03 so it was worth it but for $24.99, it's not worth it.

Just watch out for these guys and don't do business with these guys. They operate under a complete absence of ethical code.
