I paid $46.65 on February 26,2004 for reconnection of telephone service. I was then told that I still had telephone service in my home. This was not true, my home service was disconnected September of 2003. Then I was told to call back 24 to 48 business to receive my telephone number. When I called back I was told that I had service with another provider. I explained to the representative that I tried to get service somewhere else but I was denied because I owed money on a previous bill. The representative told me to call back again to make sure the problem has been fixed. When I called back I was told that my record show that my service had been disconnected in September of 2003 but the system showed service was still at my home. Once again I was told to call back in 24 to 48 business to recieve either my old number or a new number. I called back and was told that the disconnection problem had been fixed and that I would receive a number if I were to call back tomorrow and the work order had been place after the problem was fixed. I called again and I was told that the Supervisor by the name of Chrystal is working on my account to find out why I haven't received a new number,if I would call back in a hour I would be able to speak with the supervisor personally. I called back and I was not able to speak with that supervisor or any other supervisor. I than called this morning and I was told that I had spoken with severial representative already and I didn't. Then I requested to speak to a Supervisor in the previsions department, when I spoke with the supervisor she stated the account show that I still had working service. I asked to speak to someone in a higher position that could help my and she said she was just stating what the system shows, she didn't know why I was referred to that department any way. I told her to contact me to the supervisor from the department I needed and he/she would not take my call and the representative told me I could leave a voice mail message after I have already informed them I didn't have a contact number. The money I sent to use the EZ check program has been taken off my telephone account two days ago but I still do not have service. I requested a refund on my money but I was told they could not do that. I am sick and tired of being treated like a a*s. I'm on a fixed income and I do not have money to throw away. Please help.
