CCS Credit Service Division aka First National Credit Need More Information About this Company Las Vegas Nevada
I am an attorney, and I have received several offers from CCS and its "First National Card" during the past few years. I would like to investigate this entity further, and possibly file a class action lawsuit.
Does anyone out there know whether CCS or First National has any website or email address? Corporate telephone number? Has anyone ever seen their catalog?
It would be a tremendous public service if someone could scan at least some of the contents of the catalog and post the scans on the internet for all to see. I might have been interested in their services if a catalog could be perused prior to making any commitment. However, an annual $199.99 (or is it REALLY $198?) membership fee is proof positive that they strictly prey upon the feeble-minded and mistake-prone.
The fact that they provide no customer service telephone number, no web address, and no information about their catalog is unmistakable evidence that they are a racketeering enterprise whose sole purpose is the perpetration of fraudulent criminal activity.

ANY "business" in Las Vegas with a P.O. Box is suspect

I lived in Vegas 7 years, and can tell you it is the scam capital of the world. Any business who uses only a P.O. Box should be avoided. Any business who uses ONLY a toll free# should be avoided, as these numbers can be a stand alone service that is not tied to any local phone#.
Before doing business with ANYONE in Las Vegas, go to the Secretary of State page on the internet and check out the business first. Get license info, corp. info, etc..
Beware of physical addresses to as they may be just a private mailbox. Check out any address. This is easy to do, just leave off the "suite#" and name and simply address it to "management". Enclose a letter and simply give your name and phone# and ask for verification of the business entities at that address and if it is a private mailbox service.
Beware of "anonymous" hosted websites such as GoDaddy and others who hide the identity of the site owner.
There are many of these credit card scams out there who offer nothing but catalog shopping. You pay a depoit or down payment that exceeds the value of the item. Therefore, there is no credit being extended. You already paid in full for the product. Look for confusing language in the ad such as "major credit card", etc. Unless they SPECIFY you are getting a VISA or MASTERCARD, it is a guaranteed scam.

My first thought when seeing CCS was, Credit Card Scam, right off the bat!
Sue them counselor!
Aside from the fact that they are supposedly based in my home town, I am sick to death of rip-offs and how easy it is for people to get away with it.
And just in case any con-artists are reading this, don't bring yourselves to Las Vegas and do your dirty business using a Las Vegas address. We have a bad enough reputation as it is and we don't like to be referred to as "sin city". We certainly do not need con-artists adding to our repitoire.
