My name is Fahim. I am in the process of building my credit, as I have always purchased evrything in cold cash. My initial step was to secure a Capital One credit card. After I successfully obtained my first credit card, I received an approval for a second credit card in the mail from a company I never even applied to. Initially of course I was quiet happy that I was being offered another opportunity to get a second line of credit. I provided the "company" with my checking account numbers, and a post dated check for $200. I begun to examine the particulars with more scrutiny, and noticed some serious flaws. A credit card company with NO WEB SITE OR FAX! I called and asked why they didn't have a web site; they said it was under construction. Unbelievable!!!

I asked would I be refunded my $200 if I decided I didn't want the so called credit card. They said the membership fee was non-refundable no matter what. I interrogated the sales rep on the phone and he simply couldn't stand up under the pressure I applied. I called back, got another sales rep on the phone and she gave totally different answers to the same questions! I surfed through the internet and what do you know; they were number one on the list on RIPOFFREPORT.COM! I was shocked. I picked up the phone, called the FBI and reported all the details immediately. I called the company back and called them a few nasty nick names, and some. I called the my bank, put a stop/cancelation on the check well before it was withdrawn, so they didn't get away with it. The bastards. They sent me a bogus card featuring the Stat-of-Liberty, and says 1 First National Card. It's a worthless chuck of plastic with no monetary value whatsoever. They also run PEOPLES CREDIT FIRST. I caught them in time, before they completed their con game. I'll send the card and papers upon request from Ripoffreport.com.
