CCS sent me a mail solicitation that appeared to be a credit card application. After filling out the application and giving them personal information including my checking account number I received a membership package with a card in December 2001. They were not a credit card company but a catalog company.

They then electronically withdrew money from my checking account in the amount of $448.00 stating that these were lifetime membership fees, optional benefit fees and annual payments. On April 27, 2002 my father call them to cancel my membership. They said that my membership was paid up till January 2003 and at that date it would be canceled. But unknown to my father they offered a $100.00 good faith credit coupon or something like that. My father said "whatever" and thought that the memebership would be canceled in January 2003.

I would take the loss of $448.00 and just call it a learning experience. After January 2003 I began to receive billing statements amounting to $308.00 in payment fees. After calling on June 13,2003 they said because my father accepted the $100.00 offer that my membership in this faudulent company still exist and that I owe these fees.
