I am a thirty year old college student who recieved a CCS First National Credit Card in the mail. I don't want it. I have contacted the company several times and told them to cancel it. I tore up the paperwork and put the card in my grill to burn, but this card is still showning up on my credit report and someone is using my information and the card to run up huge bills. I have never used it but someone else is. I can't get the card company to help in any way and now the creditors are calling my house and work. I had a $6,500 credit limit on the card and the person who used it has burned a hole in my credit rating and is still spending. What can I do to fix this?
To make matters worse now, credit card companies are now sending me credit cards that just need to be activated, so when is the next person going to steal my identity and ruin my credit and future plans of home ownership? What am I supposed to do? I am not applying for any credit cards at all. I don't want any credit cards. Thank You For Listening...
