I received an unsolicited First National Card a couple of days ago. If you read all of the info. CAREFULLY you will immediately recognize that something is wrong. I read through other Rip-Off reports and found that all of the information they complained about is contained either on the front or back of the letter (i.e., "Cash-on-Demand" is only $20 - $150 depending on your verifiable annual income; "CCS engages in the business of home shopping by allowing members only to shop with CCS for retail merchandise.").

If you look at the back of the card (beneath the signature), it also states that "this card is issued by and authorized for usage with only CCS. Why would anyone agree to these terms without seeing a catalog?

Also, the address on the letter (C.C.S., Credit Service Division, 61 W. Utah, Ste. 63, Las Vegas, NV 89102, (800) 717-1278) is different from the letter on the envelope (Credit Service Division, P.O. Box 17800, Las Vegas, NV 89114-7800).

These guys have been sued and have agreed to "voluntarily" change their practices. Check out this site for the complete Final Judgment in that case. http://www.ftc.gov/os/1998/9806/consord9.ord.htm

I'm whipping out the scissors and tearing up the card I received.
