I was just ripped off. They actually stole money from my account. I signed up with C.C.S. in March, sending in the required amount to start a new line of credit for $6,500. They told me that they were not allowed to withdraw any amount of money without my signed permission. It is now July, they just withdrew $49.99 x 3, $150. I called them several times and they kept telling me this is for benefits. The description of the fee's withdrawn are CONSUMER CREDIT Prefered C $49.99, CONSUMER CREDIT Rush Proce $49.99, CONSUMER CREDIT Product Pr $49.99. When I received my paper work they told me to call a number to their Customer Service to cancell Benefit Fee's. They also sent a paper to sign and send with a copy of my drivers license and bank statement, to give them permission to withdraw money from my account and a copy to send to my bank. NO WAY! I called them up telling them I do not want them to withdraw anything from my account. They told me they could not without permission from me and my bank. Well, 4 months later I have these 3 charges. Same 3 charges I had already paid for. They gave me 3-4 numbers to call. Could not get through to them for days. There is no such thing as a customer service from my point of view. I am sending my bank a certified letter asking them for a refund on unauthorised money they allowed to be withdrawn from my account. THEY ARE THEIFS! I was supposed to get a $200 gift certificate back after paying the initial starting fees to spend however I want. No such thing. You have to use it for their catalog on top of that for their catalog purchases you may be asked for a 30% down payment on their products before receiving them. The women LYNN in the benefits dept told me she would never give out her information over the phone and that I could not cancel my membership through her. I could not cancell my membership throught the number on the front of their approval form, only customer service. They have 3 different numbers and you can not reach them. She finally gave me a fax number for their customer service and then told me she could not guarantee that it will go through. I told her that is because you are giving me the run around and there is no customer service. DON'T SIGN UP WITH THE SCAMMERS LIKE I DID. I will let you know soon how it went at the bank. I received and opened the same letter in the mail from First National Credit Card Company with a credit card in it stating that I was approved for a credit card with a $6,500.00 credit limit. The letter also requests that you activate the card immediately. I was curious so I decided that I would check the internet for information on CCS catalog purchases so I could see what types of merchandise was in the catalog before I activated the card. Thank God the only thing I found when I searched the internet was this website with all of the comments on the rip of report. Thank all of you so much you saved me lots of money and won't have to worry about being stressed out from this mess. I cut the card up immediately and tore the letter up immediately after reading your comments. I put it in the trash were it belongs!!
