When placing an order for an X-Box Live Gold subscription from CDkeys.com, the order process initially seemed straightforward.  The first sign of problems was while attempting to get a discount code by liking the company's Facebook page.  It did not redirect to the key initially.  A second link on the company's Facebook page did bring up a coupon code which required inputing a valid e-mail address.  The code did not work initially, a second attempt gave a valid code for the discount.

After paying successfully with PayPal and recieving a PayPal receipt e-mail, the site did not give a code, nor did it redirect to any form of confirmation.  No e-mails were sent to indicate a successfully placed order (Spam filter was checked for confirmation).

After waiting a reasonable period, still with no confirmation or code, sending an e-mail to support resulted in an e-mail response redirecting me to a validation page.  The validation page required inputing a phone number to get confirmation.  As a VOIP (voice over IP) user, the phone number was declined with no other options provided.

Contacting support again, the support representative now required a photocopy of an ID or Passport with the current date written on a piece of paper along with their website name that showed a current address. This type of phishing for personal information is unacceptable for purchase of a single subscription key.

Eventually, a refund was issued, but only since I refused to provide additional private and personally identifiable information to them. In short, the customer experience is terrible and the amount of information they collect is unacceptable.
